Cadillac is an iconic American car manufacturer, but it's not resting on its laurels in 2024. The maker's latest vehicles include a brand-new, all-electric variant and some new and improved versions of enduring Cadillac classics. Discover all that Cadillac has in store for the 2024 model year.
2024 Cadillac Celestiq
Brand new for 2024 is the Celestiq, a luxury all-electric vehicle that's made to turn heads. Cadillac matches its dramatic exterior styling with a bold interior featuring leather bucket seats and an enormous 55-inch digital display that spans the entire dashboard. There are more screens in the back to keep rear passengers occupied. A small team will manufacture each Celestiq by hand according to custom orders, ensuring customers enjoy a high-quality bespoke vehicle.
While many features are customizable, the dual-motor all-wheel powertrain is standard across all vehicles. It's predicted to produce around 600 horsepower, which should help it reach 60 mph in just 3.8 seconds. With an estimated driving range of 300 miles and fast charging, the Celestiq promises to be as practical as it is pretty.
2024 Cadillac CT4
If a hand-built custom car isn't in your budget this year, consider the 2024 Cadillac CT4. This subcompact is Cadillac's entry-level vehicle, but don't underestimate it. It's still a luxury vehicle with a well-appointed interior and a host of infotainment and driver assistance tech on board. To really turn heads, consider getting yours in the new Midnight Sky Metallic color. Also new for 2024, the Onyx package gets a black spoiler to match its other dark accents. New colors and 20th-anniversary badging help the CT4-V stand out this model year.
2024 Cadillac CT5
If you need a little more space for rear passengers and cargo, the 2024 Cadillac CT5 may be a better option for you. Both vehicles have the same standard 2.0-liter twin-scroll turbocharged engine, but the CT5's optional 3.0-liter twin-turbo is mightier than the 2.7-liter dual-volute turbocharged option in the CT4. The CT5 gets the same small tweaks for the 2024 model year as the CT4.
2024 Cadillac Escalade
With Cadillac focusing its Escalade development efforts on the all-electric iQ, the standard 2024 Escalade is no different from the 2023 model. That's not a bad thing when this luxury SUV was already miles ahead of the competition though. It bested its rivals in comparison tests last year and while other manufacturers have made improvements, their SUVs still can't quite touch this spacious family vehicle.
Its 6.2-liter V-8 engine is much larger and more powerful than many standard motors in this segment, but the ability to deactivate half its cylinders while cruising down the highway ensures it's no gas guzzler. The cabin feels expensive, even at the base trim level which features synthetic leather rather than real hides. Ambient lighting, aluminum speaker grilles, and three beautiful OLED displays ooze luxury.
2024 Cadillac Lyric
The Escalade iQ may be some months away, but until its release, the Cadillac Lyric is an excellent option if you're looking to reduce your carbon footprint. Its standard 340-horsepower electric motor is responsive and capable of taking the Lyriq 308 miles on a single charge. If you want more power, you can choose the dual-motor all-wheel-drive powertrain, which boosts horsepower to 500.
For 2024, there are still three different Lyric trims, but they're more straightforward than in recent years. At the entry level, there is the Tech. If you enjoy the finer things, there is the Luxury. The athletic-looking Sport rounds out the range.
2024 Cadillac XT4
The XT4 receives a major makeover as it enters its sixth model year. A new front fascia, modern LED lighting details, and wheel designs all contribute to the glow-up. Cadillac has supersized the infotainment display to a 33-inch screen that spans the entire dashboard. This futuristic unit, which runs Cadillac's latest infotainment system and connects wirelessly to Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, is much more impressive than the 8-incher of old. The onboard Wi-Fi hot spot now features 5G connectivity for a faster, more responsive online experience.
Cadillac has made extensive changes, but this compact SUV's turbocharged four-cylinder engine remains the same. Like the Escalade, the XT4 has cylinder-deactivation capability to help you save money at the pump.
2024 Cadillac XT5
The Cadillac XT5 is the XT4's midsized sibling. 2024 is the last year it'll be available for American motorists, so changes are relatively minor and cosmetic. The new Emerald Lake Metallic and Midnight Sky Metallic exterior hues help elevate this already stylish SUV. If you choose the Sport trim, you can also enjoy new Blue accent, Bronze accent, and Red accent appearance packages.
There's still life in the XT5 yet though. It's got more space for cargo than most of its competitors, and its cabin is comfortable and whisper-quiet. Its turbo-four is capable, but you can opt for a V-6 for a bit more pep. The XT5 strikes a great balance between the XT4 and XT6. It offers enough space for most families to travel comfortably, yet it's small enough to maneuver through traffic and into parking spaces easily. It won't be around much longer, so consider the XT5 while you can.
2024 Cadillac XT6
If you need more space but don't want to upgrade to the full-size Escalade, the XT6 is an excellent option. It has three rows of seating and a longer design than the XT5 to ensure even rear passengers don't feel cramped. It's also got plenty of cargo space, especially if you fold the seats down. The addition of Emerald Lake Metallic and Midnight Sky Metallic exterior paints are the Cadillac XT6's only changes for 2024.
